Presentation
They are made of three different materials: high density foam, a steel plate and a neoprene foam. The high density foam will isolate effectively the loudspeaker by eliminating resonances and vibrations that induce abnormalities natural phases. The steel plate in turn allows the stability of the speaker, it is an essential part of the acoustic treatment. Finally, the neoprene foam prevents the monitor moving or slipping during the different plays.
Upon first listen, one can see a more defined and detailed rendering of the whole spectrum making the mixing sessions much more enjoyable and easy.
