Presentation
It is equipped with 8 microphone/line inputs on Phoenix terminal blocks, each input benefits from independent control with a gain of +60 dB, an active PAD of -20 dB and 48 V phantom power. The box also includes 8 outputs line on Phoenix terminal blocks with a nominal level of +4 dBu.
Two RJ45 Ethernet connectors, DX A and B, carry digital audio and control signals. The DX B connector allows a daisy chain connection to link two boxes with a single cable connection to a dLive, Avantis, SQ or AHM mixing system.
The Ethernet protocol allows remote control of the preamps, and all mic preamps are scene recallable via the digital mixing system to save your settings and configuration.
The internal software updates automatically when connected to the mixing system.
The enclosure can be mounted in a rack using the optional mounting kit. This kit allows you to install up to two DX88-P units in a single rack.
The case is powered by an external 12V DC, 3.3A, 39.6W max power supply, via the supplied power supply, and operates reliably up to a temperature of 40°C.
