Presentation
In Copper Active mode, it supports standard CAT5e links up to 100m, while in Fiber Active mode, it extends this range up to 500m thanks to multimode opticalCON Duo cables.
This flexibility also allows fiberACE to be used as a converter via Convert mode, replacing the link between the MixRack and the Surface dLive or Avantis with optical fiber, for reliable, low-latency transmission.
The M-DL-GOPT fiberACE card provides redundant operation with dual cable connections in both Copper mode and fiber mode, ensuring maximum reliability during critical events and professional installations.
This proprietary technology from Allen & Heath carries both audio and control signal over Ethernet, providing minimal latency and cable redundancy without audio loss, ideal for applications requiring precise and reliable audio management over long distances.
M-DL-GOPT fiberACE can also carry dLive / Avantis control data over the same connection, allowing for example two systems to be controlled using a single laptop. This feature makes it a versatile tool for audio professionals, making it easy to manage and integrate audio systems into various production setups.
Adapted to Allen & Heath MixRacks, the fiberACE card is a plug 'n play solution that simplifies configuration without requiring a computer. Simply connect the cable between two dLive/Avantis systems and configure settings directly on the console, providing an efficient solution for live events, fixed installations and high-quality multi-channel recordings.
