Presentation
This card can be installed in the I/O Module expansion slot of a GLD, or in any I/O port of a dLive system equipped with an M-DL-ADAPT interface card.
The dual-port MADI card is capable of handling up to two digital audio streams of 64 bidirectional channels each, with 24-bit/48kHz resolution, using two 75-ohm coaxial cables per port. This dual port not only allows reliable, high-quality transmission, but also great versatility in managing audio streams. An additional AUX connector adds even more flexibility, which can be configured to duplicate Stream 1 outputs to another device, pass Stream 1 inputs, or serve as a Word Clock input or output for syncing with other devices , depending on the specific needs of the user.
Additionally, the M-MADI card allows signals to be chained or split to various devices, which is particularly useful in complex setups requiring multiple audio distribution. The second port on the card can be configured in two ways: either as an independent stream, thereby increasing the total transmission capacity, or as a redundant connection, ensuring reliability and continuity of service in the event of a main cable failure.
With these advanced features, the M-MADI is an essential tool for audio professionals looking to optimize their dLive and GLD systems. It offers seamless integration, great flexibility and improved reliability, meeting the constraints of the most demanding audio production environments.
