Audeze - LCD-5

The Audeze LCD-5 headphones feature an ergonomic design that hugs and surrounds the ear for a superior seal and enhanced comfort thanks to the soft, hand-stitched leather. They are made with lightweight, rigid materials such as magnesium, aluminum, and acetate for a total weight of just 420g.

The LCD-5's drivers feature Fluxor magnets and new Parallel Uniforce voice coils that use parallel traces of varying width to maintain low impedance and provide greater voltage headroom.

These new coils increase the spacing between the magnets, improving frequency response and opening up the soundstage while reducing distortion to a minimum.

The new slightly inward-angled architecture places the headphones in an optimal listening position, and the acoustically transparent grille reduces unwanted resonances and internal reflections. The LCD-5 also incorporates newly designed Fazor waveguides to further reduce diffraction.

The LCD-5 cable is made with directional strands of high-purity OCC copper, optimizing the signal transfer from your amp to the speakers.
