The output of the microphone is symmetrical low impedance, XLR
male, 3 pins. The signal is symmetrical between pins 2 and 3,
the hot spot is two (the positive voltage on the hot spot
is generated by a positive acoustic pressure on the capsule).
Ground (shield) is on pin 1.
To avoid phase cancellation and poor sound
quality, all mic cables must be connected so
consistently: Pin 1-Pin 1, etc.
The PRO 25ax comes with AT8471 isolation clamp that
provide secure mounting, versatile positioning, and a good
attenuation of unwanted mechanical noise.
Make sure that no foreign particle enters the
windscreen. An accumulation of iron filings or steel
on the diaphragm and / or foreign bodies in the meshes of the
windscreen can degrade performance.
