ChamSys - GeNetix GN5 5 Port Node

The ChamSys GeNetix GN5 5 Port Node is an advanced technical solution for remote lighting data distribution, compatible with Art-Net, sACN and RDM protocols. It is equipped with 5 configurable DMX ports, usable as inputs or outputs, with customizable DMX timings to meet the specific requirements of each installation.

This node has two network ports and can be powered by PoE or AC power via a powerCON TRUE1 input.

LTC and MIDI ports provide input and output capabilities for Timecode and MIDI notes, enabling precise synchronization and integration with MagicQ systems via ChamNet. Art-Net Timecode support ensures compatibility with various lighting control systems.

When connected to MagicQ PC systems via USB, the GeNetix GN5 unlocks the MagicQ systems in "fully unlocked" mode, functioning as a DMX interface, Timecode, MIDI and 10Scene gateway, allowing full use of the MagicQ software on the Linux, Mac or PC systems. Used as an Art-Net/sACN node, it allows up to two MagicQ instances to be unlocked via the network.

The GN5 is equipped with a built-in web server for remote configuration and has a display with encoder for local configuration. It also offers DMX redundancy and user scene storage features for increased security and flexibility.

Various mounting options are possible: in a rack with rack ears provided, on a DIN rail or suspended using an M12 screw thread.
