The EKO VJB 3/4 Sunburst reference from the “Tribute Starter” series is an electric bass that has been designed to address all guitarists and bassists, especially beginners. Thanks to its unbeatable quality/price ratio, this economical instrument easily meets the desire to play an electric bass inspired by the conventional Jazz Bass.

Despite its low price, the VJB 3/4 has been carefully designed to offer novice bassists an attractive and well-finished bass. A glossy varnish enhances the body, which is constructed of poplar for added strength. The sturdy and comfortable 4-point bolt-on maple neck is topped with an Eko WPC (Wood Polymers Composites) resin fingerboard, which adds strength and warmth.

Electronically, this bass features two J-type single-coil pickups. These pickups provide clean, warm tones, but they can be very biting and percussive when combined with heavy distortion. Jazz Bass single-coil pickups are designed to allow you to alternate between the nasal, high-toned sound of the bridge pickup and the warmer, more enveloping sound of the neck pickup. They are known for their snap, mids and versatility. Additionally, by using both mics simultaneously, you can achieve roundness and fullness in the low frequencies while maintaining present mids and crystal clear highs.

The bridge block includes separately adjustable saddles to best control the movement and harmonic of each string while ensuring effective sustain.

In an adorable format, alongside a striking timeless silhouette and glossy finish, this product offers much-needed comfort and ease whether you're a beginner bassist or looking for a more compact, easy-to-wield model.
