A long-time user of SG Junior, which he particularly likes, the musician collaborated with Epiphone to offer you his very first signature model: the YUNGBLUD SG Junior.
Very sober in appearance with its Classic White finish, this formidable Rock machine uses simple but devilishly effective specifications.
On this SG Junior we find a mahogany body delivering a warm sound and a beautiful roundness, to which is glued a mahogany neck with a super comfortable SlimTaper C profile. The fingerboard affixed to the neck is made of laurel, ensuring roundness and an aesthetic close to rosewood. but without touching protected forests.
Junior version requires, we find a Lightning Bar Wraparound Compensating bridge, a true homage to its big American sisters, grooved and adjustable transmitting maximum vibration to the body for marked sustain. The strings are received at the end of their travel by Epiphone Deluxe Vintage tuners providing good tuning stability.
When it comes to sound, Epiphone left no stone unturned by installing CTS brand volume and tone potentiometers controlling the unique (and emblematic) Dogear P-90 Pro microphone, manufactured by Epiphone. Like its US ancestor, this microphone is capable of delivering clean sounds full of roundness with just the right amount of compression, but while retaining a nice reserve of punch when the attack becomes more pronounced.
