FBT Touring - Horizon VHA 118 SND
The Horizon VHA 118SND active direct radiation subwoofer features an 18-inch driver for powerful bass down to 30 Hz. FBT has installed a 2500 RMS Class D digital amplification, thanks to which it generates a sound pressure of up to 143 dB. Its bass reflex cabinet, made of 18 mm birch plywood, is optimized to reduce resonances and offers a rich and controlled sound experience. Dante and INFINITO compatible, it integrates a network interface for remote control and audio streaming. An OLED screen allows you to manage the parameters precisely, and a front LED facilitates identification even in broad daylight. The subwoofer is designed for cardioid configurations and is equipped with multiple accessories for horizontal and vertical installations.

Presentation
Equipped with advanced connectivity, the VHA 118SND is compatible with the Dante protocol and the INFINITO remote management suite, ensuring seamless integration into professional audio systems. With its ability to receive high-quality digital audio streaming (24-bit, 48-96 kHz), this subwoofer can easily be controlled and monitored via a TCP/IP network. Its integrated OLED display, combined with an intuitive encoder, allows quick and precise access to parameters, simplifying configuration in all situations, whether you are in a room or outdoors.
This model also integrates an intelligent forced ventilation system, which keeps the amplification at an optimal temperature, even during long sessions at high volume. Thanks to an advanced BEM-type acoustic simulation, the speaker benefits from a significant reduction in internal resonances and turbulence in the ducts, thus optimizing the precision and clarity of the sound. Its innovative design and robust performance make it an essential choice for extending the capabilities of Horizon systems, giving them deep and dynamic bass.
Designed to adapt to any context, the VHA 118SND can be installed in both vertical and horizontal positions, with mounting accessories included for ground stack configurations. Two M20 inserts allow for stable and secure positioning, while aluminum handles facilitate handling. A perforated steel grille covers the speaker for increased protection without sacrificing acoustic quality. The assembly not only ensures powerful bass, but also great versatility of use, depending on the needs of the installation.
