The Ibanez AW70ECE-NT is a 6-string acoustic-electric guitar designed to deliver a balanced blend of tone quality and playability. With its cutaway dreadnought body shape, this guitar provides easy access to the upper frets while delivering the rich, powerful resonance typical of this format.

The solid Sitka spruce top, renowned for its ability to project a clear, vibrant tone, is paired with okoume back and sides, providing a woody warmth to the low frequencies and punchy mids.

The neck is made of nyatoh, a dense wood that promotes rich mid-bass tones. The laurel fingerboard and bridge also add a warm, natural tone, while ensuring good transmission of string vibrations through the body of the guitar. The bridge is equipped with Ibanez Advantage™ pins, which simplify string changes and ensure good stability once in place.

On the electronics side, the AW70ECE-NT is equipped with a T-bar Under-Saddle pickup designed to accurately capture the full tone of the guitar. This pickup is coupled with the Ibanez AEQ-TP2 preamp, which includes a two-band EQ and an integrated tuner, offering great ease of use for adjusting the sound during live performances.

The instrument is equipped with XLR and 1/4" jack outputs, allowing direct connection to various PA systems.

Finally, the chrome-plated 18:1 ratio tuners ensure precise tuning, while the 20 frets and the neck configuration make the AW70ECE-NT comfortable to play for all styles, whether fingerpicking or with a pick.
