Presentation
The Ibanez AW84CE-WK is an electro-acoustic guitar with a dreadnought body shape and a cutaway, offering comfortable playability on the upper frets while producing a powerful and resonant tone. It is crafted with a solid okoume top, allowing it to project a rich and balanced sound.
Okoume is also used for the back and sides, contributing to a warm and woody tone that is ideal for a variety of playing styles, whether fingerpicking or for more sustained rhythms.
The guitar's neck is made of nyatoh, a wood known for its tonal qualities in the mid and low frequencies, providing a full and robust sound. The fingerboard and bridge are made of laurel, a wood chosen for its ability to effectively transmit string vibrations while providing a warm and natural tone.
This combination of woods not only ensures excellent resonance but also pleasant playability, especially thanks to its 648 mm scale and its well-adjusted neck profile.
The Ibanez AW84CE-WK is equipped with the Ibanez AEQ-TP2 preamp, designed to offer easy tonal control with a two-band EQ and an integrated tuner, located within easy reach on the upper side of the guitar. This system also allows the instrument to be connected via an XLR or 1/4" jack output, ensuring easy connection to an amp or PA system, while maintaining a clean and natural sound thanks to the Ibanez T-bar Undersaddle pickup.
Other practical features include Ibanez Advantage bridge pins, which are easier to manipulate than traditional pins, and a headstock equipped with 18:1 ratio tuners for precise tuning. With a compensated bone nut and saddle, this guitar ensures perfect intonation and reliable chord sustain, even during long playing sessions.
This guitar is perfect for players looking for a reliable, versatile instrument that is ready to be amplified for performances on stage or in the studio.
