The AMS Neve 88RLB is a mono microphone preamp module, in the 500 Series format. Not everyone has the space or budget to put the legendary Neve 88RS recording console in their studio, but you can get all of its beauty, energy and sonic essence with the 88RLB.

  • AMS Neve 88RLB Mono microphone preamp module, in 500 Series format.
  • Preamps based on those of the 88RS consoles in 500 format, with a microphone input integrating coupled transformers and line and DI inputs/outputs with balanced electronics.
  • "REGeneration" function, allowing the line and DI inputs to be powered by the microphone input transformer in order to obtain the legendary Neve sound.
  • Low-cut filter that can be activated at the input or output.
  • Well-designed 48 V phantom power supply.
  • -20dB attenuation pad and phase inversion function for microphone, line and DI inputs.
  • Signal presence indicated by LED, which lights up green for a level of -25dB and red for a level of +26dB.
  • Front panel Jack/XLR combo connection for a microphone and line and DI inputs (1/4" TRS jack format, with a "Lift" option, to eliminate possible ground noise caused by the use of unbalanced jacks on the front panel input).
