Radial JDI Passive Stereo is a stereo direct box designed to handle extreme signal levels without distortion of any kind.
Unlike an active DI - which is limited by the rail voltage of the buffer amplifier, the Radial JDI Stereo employs a pair of Jensen audio transformers which handle both the symmetrization of the signal and reduce the impedance for large cable lengths. No power is therefore necessary.
The magic comes from Jensen transformers found in the circuit. The Jensen transformers are recognized for their ability to properly manage the transition while providing a silky sweetness reminiscent sounding vintage gear.
