Electric Guitar Effects

Rockboard offers with the RPA 100 a simple and effective solution to allow you to use your tube amp in the best conditions even when you can't make noise thanks to its power attenuator function. The box accepts up to 100W of power under 4, 8 or 16 ohms, but it also allows you to work silently with headphones with a cab emulation or to send your signal in parallel to a mixing desk.

The biggest drawback of a tube amp is not being able to fully exploit it when you live in an apartment, whether for practice or even recording.

To overcome this problem, many manufacturers have turned to amp and cab modeling, but there is often a little something missing.

Rockboard responds with this multi-purpose power attenuator.

It is capable of handling up to 100W of power and allows you to connect all the impedances used on the market, whether it is 4, 8 or 16 ohm.

By connecting your speaker to the parallel outputs, you will have total control over the final volume while giving you the possibility of pushing the volume of your head to recover the compression and harmonics of the tubes that cannot usually come out at low volume.

A DI output and a Line output have also been incorporated to output the normalized signal and send it to a mixer or a sound card, allowing (for example) to record your sound in parallel during a live performance.

Those who wish to work in silence will be delighted to connect their headphones to the dedicated output and send the sound of their favorite head into the cab simulation in 2x12 or 4x12, which can be disengaged at any time. They can even jam on their favorite tracks by connecting their player to the Aux In input via TRS Jack.

The box is powered directly by the power output of the amp, but a 9V power socket is integrated to power the Phones/Line Out/DI outputs (power supply not included).
