The Shure MXW8 gooseneck microphone base transmitter is an integral part of the Microflex Wireless wireless systems. Lightweight and innovative, it is compatible with various types of gooseneck microphones, including those with or without cardioid and supercardioid capsules. Designed to capture voice with great clarity, its wide frequency spectrum ensures transparent communications. Like the other microphones in the range, it has a headphone output, ideal for listening to translation channels or remote audio signals during video conferences.

The Shure MXW8 has lithium-ion batteries offering up to 9 hours of continuous use and a full recharge in just 2 hours. The sleep mode, which can be activated remotely during periods of inactivity, extends the battery life, ensuring robustness and reliability for all professional applications.

Communications security is guaranteed by encrypted transmission using the AES 256-bit protocol. With a range of 50 meters, the Shure MXW8 provides reliable wireless coverage and an audible alarm if this range is exceeded. Pairing the transmitters is simplified thanks to the wireless link function, simply insert the microphone into a network charging station and press the "link" button.

Equipped with a configurable mute button, the Shure MXW8 offers options such as "Push to talk", "Push to mute" and external control, thus meeting the specific needs of users. A low battery LED, as well as the possibility of recharging via standard USB, ensure continuous use. Another LED, in the form of a ring on the base or under the capsule of the different microphones available, ensures a clear visualization of the status of the microphone, making the Shure MXW8 an optimal choice for conferences and presentations, with various options to adapt to the user's preferences.
