The Shure MXWAPT2 is an advanced two-channel wireless access point transceiver for Shure Microflex Wireless microphone systems, featuring a low-profile design and paintable external cover for maximum discretion.
Installation is convenient with PoE power and LED indicators that provide a quick view of system activity and check the status of power, wireless connection and network audio.

With automated frequency coordination, this device assigns specific frequencies to wireless microphones, ensuring reliable and secure bi-directional transmission of audio and control signals for real-time remote control of all microphone parameters. The system automatically scans the available spectrum, coordinates clean frequency assignments and keeps channels free from unintended interference.

Networked Dante digital audio, carried over Cat5e or higher cable, provides low-latency digital transmission from microphones to any other Dante-enabled device, ensuring professional sound quality, and power is supplied over the same cable via PoE.

Secure communications between the Shure MXWAPT and microphones are ensured by AES 256-bit encryption, while its 50-meter wireless range provides reliable coverage.
Its compliance with stringent fire test standards ensures optimum protection when installed in a false ceiling.

The ability to combine multiple units to integrate configurations of up to 32 compatible channels (40 in Europe and certain countries) makes it a flexible and adaptable solution.
With its DECT technology allowing to obtain more than 80 audio channels per system and the High Density mode which maximizes the number of channels, the Shure MXWAPT represents a complete and efficient solution for all professional audiovisual applications.
