The Shure MXWAPT8 is a sophisticated wireless access point designed to manage up to eight channels in Shure Microflex Wireless microphone systems. With its ultra-slim profile and customizable bezel, it blends seamlessly into any environment, whether professional or institutional.

Installation is made easy with PoE power and LED indicators that provide instant information on system activity, wireless connection quality, and network audio status. This device uses automatic frequency coordination to assign specific channels to wireless microphones, ensuring reliable and secure audio and control transmission with real-time remote control.

The system supports networked digital audio via Dante, enabling low-latency transmission to any compatible equipment, using Cat5e or better cable. This same connection provides power to the device, simplifying installation and reducing the need for additional cabling.

With 256-bit AES encryption, the MXWAPT8 ensures maximum communication security, while a 50-meter wireless range provides robust coverage for various types of Microflex microphones. In addition, its compliance with stringent fire test standards makes it a safe choice for installation above suspended ceilings.

The Shure MXWAPT8’s flexibility is enhanced by its ability to combine multiple units, supporting up to 32 compatible channels (or 40 in Europe and certain countries). With DECT technology and High Density mode, it can handle more than 80 audio channels per system, making it an ideal solution for demanding and complex professional AV environments.
