The Shure QLXD2 SM87 L52 wireless handheld microphone is ideal for professionals at concerts, conferences or outdoor events. Transmitting on the L52 frequency band (632 to 694 MHz), it offers secure RF transmission with 256-bit AES encryption and a range of up to 100 meters.

Powered by the optional Shure SB900A rechargeable battery, this microphone provides over 10 hours of continuous operation, with an option to run on standard LR6 batteries for approximately 9 hours of use. External contacts allow for convenient recharging via the SBC200 or SBC220 chargers.

The QLXD2 SM87 L52 transmits a digital signal to the QLXD4 wireless receiver, ensuring 24-bit / 48 kHz digital transmission for superior audio quality. The Shure SM87 capsule, housed in a rugged housing, offers a precise supercardioid polar pattern, perfect for isolating the main sound source and rejecting unwanted noise.

With Shure Gain Ranging technology, the microphone automatically adjusts the gain according to the audio source, eliminating manual adjustments and optimizing the signal-to-noise ratio. The two audio paths with low and high gain allow a dynamic range of more than 120 dB, ensuring a balanced and optimal transmission. The gain control is remote to the receiver, so that adjustments can be made live without going through the transmitter.

Designed for live use, the QLXD2 SM87 L52 has a frequency and power lock function to maintain the stability of the settings.
