Presentation
The Bluey from Californian manufacturer Black Lion Audio is a modified “Blue Stripe” compressor, based on a Universal Audio 1176. Some components having become unobtainable, the technicians had to make some changes, thus creating, in association with the sound engineer Chris Lord-Alge, a unique compressor.
The attack is very fast, we can describe it as aggressive, in the good sense of the word, and it works particularly well on vocals.
Buy two and connect them via the Link jack to use the Bluey in stereo.
