Folk Guitar

Developed with criteria in line with current trends in the guitar market, this Luce 450 has a more compact format than standard dreadnoughts. If like others, it is all mahogany, it should be noted that its table and back are solid, allowing it to have a larger sound volume. Although it sounds darker than spruce, mahogany produces a warmer sound with rich and full mids.

The Cort Luce L450C Natural Satin acoustic guitar features a compact size and solid mahogany construction, offering an attractive alternative to traditional dreadnought models.

Part of the Luce series, this guitar is designed for players looking for optimal playability and balanced sound, all with an aesthetic that combines vintage charm with modern and functional features.

The L450C is crafted entirely from mahogany, with a solid mahogany top, back and sides. This choice of wood gives the instrument a unique sonic warmth and a rich, enveloping midrange. Unlike spruce, mahogany produces a darker, warmer sound, bringing depth and roundness to each note played. The solid mahogany construction of the back reinforces the resonance of the guitar's body, allowing it to project a generous volume despite its smaller size.

With its Concert body format, the L450C offers a more focused and balanced tone than dreadnought models. The midrange response is strong, while the highs remain soft and clear, making it a guitar particularly suited to fingerpicking playing styles and solo melodies.

The ergonomics of the Concert shape make it easy to hold for musicians looking for a comfortable and easy-to-play instrument, especially during long sessions.

Aesthetically, the Luce L450C stands out with its elegant multiple abalone rosette and snowflake-shaped inlays on the ovangkol fingerboard, adding a refined yet discreet touch. The bridge, also in ovangkol, ensures optimal transfer of string vibrations to the soundboard, thus promoting the guitar's natural resonance.

The L450C has a mahogany neck, attached to the body by a dovetail joint, ensuring strength and stability over time. The 43mm nut width provides string spacing that is suitable for most playing styles, from rhythm to more technical passages. The oil-bath tuners with black buttons ensure precise and reliable tuning, while the D’Addario EXP16 strings complete the package for a rich tone from the first pick-up.

The Cort Luce L450C Natural Satin is an excellent choice for players looking for a compact acoustic guitar with a warm tone and a neat finish, ideal for those who love deep and balanced acoustic tones.
