The Elipson MDAC I DAC module is designed to complement the connectivity of the Elipson P1 preamp with optical and coaxial inputs and enable playback of high-resolution digital files.
Equipped with the high-end ESS Saber 9028 Q2M DAC, the Elipson MDAC I module can play audio files up to a very high resolution of 32-bit/192kHz via the optical and coaxial inputs, or 32-bit/384kHz via the USB-B port.
From this port it also supports playing PCM streams for DSD64 and DSD256.
With its inputs, you can connect a network player, television or CD player to your Elipson P1.
In addition, the USB-B port allows this module to be used as a USB DAC with a Windows or Mac computer to benefit from better audio file conversion quality.
