After 10 years of research and development in France, modern luthiers Expressive E offer with Osmose a new way to approach keyboard instruments. This standalone MPE synthesizer has been designed to make its 49 expressive keys interact perfectly with the powerful EaganMatrix sound engine (developed by the expressive pioneers at Haken Audio), a digital modular engine developed by Haken Audio. Delivered with more than 500 MPE presets, integrated effects and intuitive and fun parameterization functions, Osmose allows you to sculpt the sound in depth thanks to the use of simple MPE gestures. The new generation polyphonic aftertouch allows 3D control of each key on several axes. You can also use its innovative keyboard in MIDI control to control your DAW and your favorite synthesizers (virtual or hardware)! Expressiveness is at the heart of the young French brand Expressive E. We owe it the famous Touché and Touché SE, probably the best-designed tools to bring a game rich in expressions, nuances, modulations, to most synthesizers on the market or virtual instruments.

Founder Dr. Lippold Haken began working on the Continuum in the early 1980s, and over the last decade he has worked with Edmund Eagan to develop the EaganMatrix, a modular synthesizer-inspired sound engine optimized for the three-dimensional finger movements of the Continuum Fingerboard.
