Unlike traditional monitor speakers, the iLoud MTM MKII instantly adapts to its placement thanks to its integrated ARC auto-calibration system. Whether you place them on a desk, on the ceiling or on speaker stands, ARC automatically corrects the frequency response for balanced and precise sound.
The iLoud MTM MKII is designed for multi-channel installations thanks to its linear phase and "point source" acoustic design that ensures accurate sound at any distance. This feature eliminates placement inaccuracies often encountered with conventional speakers, crucial for multi-channel and immersive setups.
The iLoud MTM MKII's MTM (mid-tweet-mid) configuration provides significantly more controlled vertical dispersion than traditional models. This minimizes the speakers' interaction with the room's acoustics (and with each other), which is ideal for studios not specifically designed for surround sound.
Thanks to their format 30 to 50% smaller and lighter than comparable monitor speakers, the iLoud MTM MKII fits easily into studios of all sizes. Optional wall and ceiling mounting brackets are available for optimal positioning. Additionally, their threaded base allows them to be installed on standard microphone stands.
The iLoud MTM MKII features impressive bass extension for its size. However, to preserve the maximum sound pressure level, it is recommended to use a subwoofer with the lowest frequencies in immersive setups where the speakers are positioned away from the mixing position.
The bundle includes an 80 Hz high-pass filter (LFE) for rapid integration with subwoofers, following the multi-channel and immersive bass management standard.
