Jackson granted his wishes by offering him a signature model based on the Kelly with a Basswood body covered with a sandblasted Ash top, a Maple neck with graphite reinforcement and the artist's signature Seymour Duncan pickups.

Possessing supersonic playing, surgical precision and a very sharp sense of riffing, Loomis needed an instrument that meets his technical requirements while having the most Metal aesthetic possible.
After being a Schecter ambassador for many years, Jeff approached Jackson to design the ultimate shredder's weapon.
Based on the Kelly (the Explorer according to Jackson) and its resolutely aggressive shape, the brand's luthiers selected a Basswood body for its balance in sound and its transparency to which is added an Ash top which, in addition to its visual character brings brilliance and precision.
Jackson shafts are renowned for being speedways intended for the fastest and most technical games, and that of the Loomis signature is not to be outdone since it is made up of 3 pieces of Maple reinforced by a graphite rod and a construction through the body for maximum sustain. The latter is topped with an Ebony fingerboard for maximum attack and increased playing comfort.
In addition to the Hipshot bridge, designed to provide great playing comfort and maximum resonance, the tuning of the beast is ensured by the Jackson locking tuners.
The icing on the cake: Jeff Loomis signature active pickups created by Seymour Duncan!
Based on the Blackouts series, these were modified according to the artist's needs in order to obtain an aggressive, expressive and hyper-crystalline sound. The neck pickup will bring its share of softness and brilliance, the bridge is made to remain ultra-precise even under a deluge of distortion and brings out the most furious Legato shots.
