The Lewitt DTP 340 REX is a cardioid dynamic microphone designed for recording bass drums and bass amps, but also for instruments that require accurate reproduction in the low end of the spectrum, such as tubas, sousaphones, sousaphones and double bass. To simplify bass drum recordings, it also features a switch that modifies the behavior of the microphone by boosting the low frequencies (from 70 to 150 Hz) and the high frequencies (from 3 to 5 kHz).
