Wired Microphones

A complete set of 2 miniature piano microphones, the MCM system is designed for close-range miking in live performances. With it you get the Neumann sound, without the many compromises usually made with this type of small microphone, particularly in terms of tone, ease of use and mounting options.

The Neumann KK 14 cardioid capsule redefines the standard for rich, natural close-miking sound, as well as the signal fidelity and accuracy that electret systems can deliver.

Thanks to an entirely new production process, the overcomes old limitations such as sensitivity and tone inconsistencies.

It accepts any sound pressure level, allowing it to capture the softness of a transverse flute as well as the violent impacts of a snare drum: you won't have to worry about microphone tolerance.

As part of the MCM Miniature Clip Mic System, the comprehensive range of mounting clips allows for simple and reliable positioning on any instrument.

They are gentle on the most sensitive surfaces and make mounting quick and easy, so MCM microphones can be installed in an instant, with one hand on most instruments

To ensure interfacing with all wireless transmitters on the market, the MCM series includes four interchangeable cables, sold separately, with 3.5 mm mini-jack, 3-pin Lemo, 4-pin Mini-XLR and MicroDot connectors, eliminating the need for adapters. The microphone also works via wired connection through its high-end MCM 100 output stage.

The MCM series:
- Elevates electret technology to Neumann standards: sets a new sonic benchmark for close-range miking with miniature microphones
- Maximum sound pressure level of 153 dB – one capsule for all instruments, loud or soft
- Interfaces with most bodypack transmitters (3.5 mm mini-jack / MicroDot / Lemo / 4-pin mini XLR)
- Hand-assembled in Germany for better tonal consistency of the microphones
- No tangled cables thanks to the gooseneck connector that allows rotation
- Complete range of instrument-specific mounting solutions for reliable and easy placement of the microphone, respectful of the instrument
- Neumann quality and aesthetics
