Neumann's KK 14 cardioid capsule redefines the standard for rich, natural close-miking sound and the signal fidelity and accuracy that electret systems can deliver.

Constructed from titanium, this capsule is meant to last not just a season, but decades.

Thanks to an entirely new production process, the KK 14 overcomes old limitations such as sensitivity and tone inconsistencies.

It accepts any sound pressure level, allowing it to capture the softness of a transverse flute as well as the harsh impacts of a snare drum: you won't have to worry about microphone tolerance.

While delivering a very open sound, the KK 13 omni capsule benefits from a remarkably balanced frequency response,
like the standard KK 14 cardioid model, which ensures that they can be combined without inconsistencies
in the sound image. Apart from their polar patterns, both capsules share the same exceptional quality. Thanks
to their immense dynamic range, they cover the entire spectrum, from the softest nuances to the most powerful fortissimo,
without audible noise or distortion.
