In the world of studio microphones, the "47" numbers "67" and "87" are associated with models raising enthusiasm among professionals. Of course, it's not a coincidence that the name of the new model TLM 67 * contains the number "67". In many respects, the TLM 67 is based on a legend of the 60s, the model U 67. Like its elder, the TLM 67 incorporates a capsule K 67. Moreover, its specific circuit, a new design, faithfully reproduced the sound signature of a U 67 "classic" without the use of lamps. Neumann has used successfully similar technology in the TLM 49 model.
The TLM 67 is extremely versatile. It offers three directional characteristics (omnidirectional, cardioid and bidirectional), a switchable pre-attenuation of 10 dB and a high pass filter to optimize the behavior of the microphone according to each specific recording situation.
