The X-Amp uses a class A active circuit to reproduce all sound nuances of the original performance. The X-Amp sounds the amp as if the guitar was connected directly to it. The X-Amp accepts a symmetrical input signal + 4dBu XLR and spring 2 instrument level unbalanced outputs for connecting effects and / or amplifiers. To avoid ground loops between the recorder and the amps, the XLR input has a switch "ground lift". The X-Amp allows the simultaneous use of two amplifiers. The second output amplifier is buffered to avoid signal loss, is isolated by a transformer to avoid hums caused by ground loops and has a polarity switch to align the amplifiers phase between them . The level control and clip LED helps set the levels quickly and avoid round trips between the console and the amp.
