The HS7 has an XLR input and a 1/4" TRS jack input that accept balanced or unbalanced signals for integration into a variety of studio setups.
Yamaha's HS7 models feature two response controls with adjustments that allow them to adapt to the surface acoustics of rooms of different shapes and sizes. “Room Control” helps to attenuate the exaggerated, unnatural bass that can often occur when speakers are placed close to walls, while “High Trim” allows for more flexible control of high-frequency response.
