The Katana series from BOSS has quickly become a must-have in the world of electric guitar amplifiers. The Katana 50, becoming the flagship of the series, has conquered guitarists around the world.

Based on the modeling of amps that have marked the history of the guitar, BOSS engineers have created 5 versatile presets ranging from the purest clean sound to the wildest saturation. This third generation brings a newcomer to the team: the Pushed, equivalent to a compressed and slightly boosted clean sound going up to a very light crunch.

In addition, each of the characters has a second voicing pushing to a dozen even more expressive tones and with a response ever closer to tube models.

A channel specially created for electro-acoustic guitarists further pushes the versatility of the beast which, coupled with its compact size and controlled power, makes it the ideal companion whether for rehearsing in your room or playing on a small stage.

Also, a complete effects section from the modeling of their famous pedals enriches this Katana for maximum possibilities when creating your own presets.

The whole thing is enhanced by the 12" speaker custom-made to respect the authenticity of the sound of the beast.

In terms of connections, this combo is not left behind with the possibility of connecting two footswitches or a footswitch + expression pedal, giving you total control over your sound. You also have the possibility of connecting headphones to work in silence or conversely to connect your favorite multi-effects into the power input to amplify your set on stage.

If you like to jam, you have the possibility of connecting an external audio player via jack cable or by using the BT-DUAL adapter for a stable wireless connection (adapter sold separately).
