Catalyst CX 60 features 12 amp simulations, inspired by the legendary Line 6 Helix processor, for rich, varied sound.
Ranging from crystal-clear cleans to powerful, modern overdrive, these simulations give you a huge sonic palette to explore any playing style.
Each amp simulation is paired with a specific Boost type, allowing you to sculpt your tone and add character to your parts.
But it doesn’t stop there! It also includes 24 professional-grade Helix-derived effects, spanning four distinct categories. Whether you’re looking to add shimmering chorus, haunting delay, or cutting distortion, the CX 60 has something to satisfy your sonic desires.

Designed to fit your setup and needs, the Catalyst CX 60 features
- an XLR output for direct connection to a PA or recording system,
- an effects loop for integrating your favorite pedals, and
- a Power Amp input that lets you use the CX 60 as a speaker cabinet powered by an external preamp

Line 6 ships it with the free Catalyst Edit app for desktop and mobile devices, which lets you deeply edit your sounds, customize amp and effects parameters, and save your favorite settings for instant recall. Add the LFS2 footswitch, sold separately, for even more intuitive control on the gig, and a protective cover for safe transport of your amp.

The free Catalyst 2.0 firmware update for Catalyst amplifiers introduces six additional amp voicings, for a total of 12.
There are also 24 effects in 4 effect categories, and single effects from 2 of these categories can now be used simultaneously.
