Presentation
The 2000 series, the entry-level model at Drum Workshop, which is already much better than advanced models from many competitors! Originally designed for students, Sunday drummers and self-taught drummers, it has managed to win over more experienced drummers thanks to its all-metal finish and great playability, as a rehearsal pedal or as a save pedal in case of a problem on stage! And of course, still made in the USA!

Born in 1977 in California, DW (Drum Workshop) was created by two enthusiasts, Don Lombardi and John Good, by creating a seat/case concept and then a bass drum pedal made from the molds of the famous Camco.
In 1983, Don Lombardi flourished in the launch of a range of formidable accessories including the famous 5002 pedal with a cardan system. The latter quickly became a reference in the manufacture of bass drum pedals as well as among professional drummers.
Still in the sector of high-fidelity and ingenious accessories, it is also DW that launches the pivoting bi-pod hi-hat stand for effective space saving in your set as well as the cable models that allow you to place your hi-hat in any space.
Accompanist John Good, for his part, specializes in observing professional drummers in order to tackle the technicality of the instrument both in terms of accessories and the selection of woods as well as the adjustment of the perfect tuning. This is how the idea of listening to the specific sound of each drum and assembling them in harmonized kits launches the concept "Timbre Matching" which becomes the specificity of DW.
The development of detail is making its way thanks to its two enthusiasts who take care of the bevels, equipping the drums with stamped circles to reinforce the warmth of sound and this is how they seduce prestigious drummers such as Tommy Lee, Jim Keltner in the 1990s.
Over time, the DW sound becomes a world reference among drums made in the USA and DW supplies the most demanding drummers on the planet in all categories (pop, jazz, fusion, rock ...)
