Electro-Voice - Everse 8

EVERSE 8 is the first battery-operated, weatherproof PA speaker from Electro-Voice.

She is a winner of the CES 2023 Innovation Awards! This annual competition honors significant design and engineering in technology products.

This all-in-one portable speaker was designed to provide a professional sound solution in a compact format for musicians, DJs, fitness instructors and entertainers.

With a maximum sound pressure level of 121 dB and wide, even coverage of 100º x 100º in a compact format, the capabilities of EVERSE 8 set new benchmarks in the portable PA speaker market, with professional quality.

The EVERSE 8 is equipped with an 8-inch woofer with EV's patented SST (Signal Synchronized Transducers) port, and a high-efficiency titanium tweeter mounted on a constant directivity waveguide.

EVERSE 8 is powered by a custom-designed, high-capacity Li-ion battery, fully optimized for audio use and allows for up to 12 hours of battery life. Protection circuits reduce the risk of the battery discharging to a voltage so low that it can no longer be recharged - for example, after long periods of storage. Tool-free screws make battery removal effortless.

The built-in 12V DC port provides power from the EVERSE 8's battery, perfect for powering a wireless microphone system such as the Electro-Voice RE3 or R300. A charging port is included for mobile devices if charging is needed while streaming.

In combination with the rugged polypropylene housing, use of the included weatherproof inlet cover allows EVERSE 8 to meet IP43 rating (water resistance for splashes and light rain) when operating on battery and during Bluetooth streaming.

Integrated feet with non-slip rubber pads ensure the system stays in place. Bring EVERSE 8 outdoors for concerts, rehearsals, barbecues or anywhere else a sound reinforcement is needed, regardless of the weather forecast.

The free downloadable EV QuickSmart Mobile app allows you to adjust all audio, effects and mixing functions via your smartphone or tablet. An intuitive user interface makes it easy to shape your sound to fit the space, so you can focus on the show.
