Active 2-way speaker, the EV EKX-12P is equipped with a 12" driver and a 1" titanium Tweeter. The high-efficiency 1500 watt Class D amp, driven by QuickSmartDSP, delivers a max SPL of 132 dB via high-sensitivity transducers, designed and manufactured by Electro-Voice. Everything is housed in a compact wooden housing, suitable for a wide range of sound reinforcement scenarios, including for mobile musicians/DJs and for live/club performances and other fixed sound applications.

With lightweight, compact wooden enclosures, 8 mounting points and a 35mm baseplate, these speakers are perfect for both mobile and fixed installation applications, the durable EVCoat finish ensures that EKX speakers sound as good as they look.
Intelligent thermal management, with a variable speed fan controlled by multiple integrated sensors, guarantees superior performance and reliability, even in demanding environmental conditions.
