Having built a good reputation in the world of audio equipment with its iLoud Micro, the IK Multimedia brand is expanding its range of compact and powerful monitoring speakers with the white iLoud MTM. The latter promises more power, more depth and more precision!

Speaking of sound quality, the upgrade is undeniable thanks, among other things, to an extended frequency response from 50 Hz to 24 kHz with a tolerance of +/-2 dB. In practice, this results in clear sound and above all better reproduction of deep bass. Offering a neutral sound over a wide range of frequencies, it is highly sought after for mastering or mixing in homestudios.

It also features a bass reflex port located at the rear. Promoting better air circulation, this helps generate deeper bass.

With this speaker, you won't miss any detail in your audio tracks. This develops an impressive power of 100W RMS which allows it to reach high volumes not easily accessible on other reference monitors in its category. With a max. SPL. of 103 dB, this bi-amplified 2-way speaker (class D amplifiers) guarantees a high output level without distortion!

All this power is distributed through a 1" silk dome tweeter and two 3.5" cellulose fiber composite midrange woofers. These elements ensure tight vertical dispersion to limit the acoustic impact of its environment, and wider horizontal dispersion to offer an extended listening area. IK Multimedia draws on its experience in DSP to offer through this speaker a reliable and efficient monitoring solution in different situations. She uses it in particular for the acoustic correction of the room. To do this, it uses automatic ARC (Acoustic Room Correction) calibration for which you must connect the speaker to the MEMS (Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems) microphone, provided. Once the acoustics of your listening space have been measured, the frequency response of the monitor will be tuned accordingly in order to offer you faithful sound reproduction at all times.

To go further, 4 EQ switches (LF EXTENSION, LF, HF, CAL/PRESET) allow you to adapt the frequency response of this model to your specific needs. Likewise, you can adjust the sensitivity (SENS) depending on the source. So, you can use it either as a monitoring speaker or as a multimedia speaker.

In terms of connectivity, this model has a 3.5 mm mini-Jack input dedicated to the MEMS measurement microphone, a USB input to connect it to the manufacturer's update and maintenance software as well as an XLR combo jack input. 6.35 mm (balanced, line level), for connecting to a variety of professional audio equipment.
