Originally named Concorde, the asymmetrical V took the initials of Randy Rhoads in homage to the late guitarist.

His short but intense career changed the world of Heavy Metal forever and some of his songs in Ozzy Osbourne's band have become timeless classics.

In addition to its Metal aesthetic, this guitar uses only components made for the style.

Composed of an alder body and a 3-piece maple through-body neck, the sound is rich, full and balanced while having a wicked sustain. The ebony fingerboard adds the brightness and attack necessary to make any riff roar.

But the Jackson Concept Series brings a little extra that is usually only found on custom Shop models, for example an authentic Floyd Rose Original (in sumptuous Gold color) that will resist the most fervent technicians and the most furious Dive Bombs. In order to guarantee the best tuning, the Floyd is completed with its Locking Nuts (locking saddles) and the tuners are nothing less than Gotoh Made in Japan.

The sound of such a war machine must be aggressive, precise and full. This is why the manufacturer has installed a pair of Seymour Duncan pickups renowned in Metal in the broad sense, the JB in Trembucker format (TB-4) which is one of the most versatile pickups on the market, and the Hot Rails (SHR-1) in the neck with a full-bodied and balanced sound.

In order to protect the beauty and its Gloss White color with Black borders, it is delivered in a Soft Foam Core case to guarantee you peace of mind when traveling.

The short but rich career of the brilliant Randy Rhoads is closely linked to the emergence of the manufacturer Jackson in the 80s.

A specialist in guitar customization in the Charvel workshops, Grover Jackson then developed a line of guitars with a single motto: METAAAALLLLL!

After visiting the manufacturer's workshops, Randy fell in love with the Concorde, an asymmetrical V with a devastating look and pronounced playing comfort. An icon was born.

After the guitarist's death in March 1982 and in order to pay tribute to him, the Concorde series was reworked in terms of design and renamed RR.
