Presentation
This Affinity Jazz Bass VI does not fail the manufacturer's reputation and also offers an instrument that goes off the beaten track.
Designed as a Bass V (i.e. a 4-string bass with an additional low B), this version VI also incorporates a high C string, thus expanding the range of musical possibilities and possibilities for musical experimentation.
The asymmetrical cut, adding a more "modern" touch to the JB format, of the poplar body facilitates access to high notes. The naturally wider maple neck (extra strings required) benefits from a 12" radius that is flatter than average and a very comfortable "Slim C" profile.
The typical sonic versatility of the Jazz Bass is there thanks to its Ceramic single-coil pickups delivering a precise, punchy and characterful sound, equally at home on Slap Funk as on hyper-energetic Prog plans. To control the sound, you will have access to a volume control per microphone to find your balance and a Master Tone will complete the whole thing.
