SSL - SSL2 MKII
SSL 2 MKII, Solid State Logic’s USB-C audio interface, is more than just a sound card. It builds on the success of its predecessor, the SSL 2, while adding notable improvements like low-noise preamps (-130.5 dBu EIN), next-generation 32-bit/192 kHz audio conversion, and an extended 120 dB dynamic range for studio-quality balanced outputs. Whether you’re in the studio or on the go, SSL 2 MKII is the perfect interface to bring your musical projects to life with pristine sound quality.

Presentation
The mic preamps have been refined with an improved gain range of 64 dB (compared to 62 dB for the first generation), an increased dynamic range of 116.5 dB, and a maximum input level of +9.7 dB. This ensures exceptional recording quality, even with demanding microphones. In addition, a switchable high-pass filter improves your recordings at the source by eliminating unwanted bass.
Audio conversion is now handled by high-performance 32-bit/192 kHz converters. The balanced outputs benefit from a significant improvement with a dynamic range of 120 dB.
The internals live up to SSL’s reputation: ALPS potentiometers, Neutrik connectors, and high-current NJM headphone amplifiers ensure exceptional durability and sound quality. Plus, Stereo Loopback functionality is now standard, ideal for streaming, podcasting, or online collaboration.
For simplified collaboration, the SSL 2 MKII features dual headphone outputs, now located on the front for easy access. This allows users to effortlessly share a mix. Instrument inputs (DIs) are also located on the front panel, making it easy to quickly connect your guitars, basses, or other instruments.
