The OX Amp Top Box is a reactive loadbox, a sound level attenuator which allows you to use a tube guitar amp with or without its cabinet and an audio interface which offers authentic emulations of various cabinets, sound pickup microphones, etc. studio atmosphere, and a chain of processing for impeccable sound, worthy of being on an album. With OX, guitarists can play and record with their amp's best settings: from clean, to cranked up, or any other gain level. The amp sounds are preserved, and only the sound volume is modified.

OX Amp Top Box, a high-end product, is a reactive loadbox, a sound level attenuator that allows you to use a tube guitar amp with or without its speaker. With OX, guitarists can play and record with their amp's best settings: from clean sound, to cranked sound, to the limit of saturation or any other gain level. The amp sounds are preserved, and only the sound volume is modified.
OX has a second audio output, with the signal from the real amp passing through authentic emulations of various speakers, miking microphones, studio ambience, and a processing chain for impeccable sound, worthy of being on an album.

OX is the first Universal Audio product to use new Dynamic Speaker Modeling technology, which is completely different from the use of impulse responses (IR) found in other products on the market. OX is capable of authentically recreating the behavior of a speaker cone pushed to its limits, with the harmonics and compression that are generated, depending on the frequencies and gain of the connected amp ('cone cry' phenomenon) .
OX is the best solution on the market combining an analog volume attenuator and a system for recording super faithful guitar amp sounds, at home or in the studio.

TIP: You must first turn on the OX and choose your WiFi network (the key is written on the back). It is imperative to proceed in this order, otherwise the application which is the driver will not be able to find the OX.

Le boitier de l'Ox est magnifique et d'une qualité exceptionnelle, il doit compter au moin pour la moitié du prix. Je ne me sert pas du réducteur de puissance je joue essentiellement au casque ou sur mes moniteurs de studio. Je n'ai pas encore atteint le Graal mais en suis extrêmement proche il ne me manque qu'une bonne tête a lampe ! Le seul concurrent sérieux sera robablement le Captor X, a suivre ....
