RCF - NX 985-A

The NX 985-A is a masterpiece of acoustic engineering, an exceptional three-way active loudspeaker. It combines a 1.75" compression driver with neodymium magnet, constant directivity waveguides, an 8" midrange driver mounted in a phase coherent waveguide, and a 15" woofer. This configuration provides a coherent sound dispersion of 100° x 60° for an immersive audio experience. In addition, the NX 9 Series amplifier, the most powerful in its class with 2100 W of Class D power, ensures fast response, low distortion and high energy efficiency.

Thanks to Bass Motion Control (BMC) and FiRPHASE processing, the frequency response and phase coherence are optimized, ensuring precise sound reproduction. The versatility of the NX 985-A allows it to be used in different ways, whether as a stand-alone speaker, suspended, coupled with another NX 985-A or associated with an RCF SUB subwoofer 8008-AS. Installation is made easy with M10 mounting points.
