Presentation
The Keyscape instrument provides 80GB of multi-sampled sounds, but a 30GB Lite version is available for use on stage. If you use a DAW with a MIDI controller for Ableton Live, you'll be pleased to find that it's a breeze to set up!
Spectrasonics has created each sample to have up to 32 different velocities. To do this, the notes are all played differently to capture the different dynamics of the musicians. They then use a technique called "Round Robin" that randomly selects the different speeds, and adds this touch of naturalness and humanization to the general atmosphere of your songs.
This degree of realism on the samples makes all the difference with other virtual instruments of piano, organ or synthesizers.
Keyscape is a very expressive and versatile collection, integrating the rarest and most sought-after keyboards (some dating back more than a century). The VST instrument Keyscape runs on the Spectrasonics STEAM Engine and works in all major DAWs as a plug-in. It is also possible to use it as a standalone, for all styles of music.
If you are already a user of the Spectrasonics Omnisphere 2, you will enjoy the bonus of full Keyscape integration as additional patches. Spectrasonics Keyscape Collector Keyboards is every keyboardist's dream come true.

After years spent at Roland as a renowned sound designer, Eric Persing created Spectrasonics in 1994. At the beginning, he was developing sampling-based sound banks, considered as references at the world level. With the advent of virtual instruments, Eric Persing has transposed his sounds and developed his creative possibilities to the delight of all. His greatest successes are Stylus RMX, Omnisphere, Trilian and Keyscape.
