Compact and versatile, the Volt 476 lets you take a studio classic with you wherever you go, with advanced features that ensure superior sound quality.
The Volt 476 features two XLR/jack combo inputs for mics or instruments, equipped with Vintage-circuit preamps and LED level controls.
You also get two additional line-level inputs, as well as a built-in 76 compressor with three presets to choose from, based on UA's renowned analog 1176, that adds clarity and punch to your recordings.
Zero-latency direct monitoring and stereo jack outputs, as well as a headphone output, ensure accurate monitoring of your takes. The Volt 476 also features four additional line-level outputs and a 5-pin DIN MIDI I/O for easy integration with other MIDI equipment.
The USB 2.0 connection via USB-C jack ensures compatibility with Mac and PC, and the interface can be powered via USB, although an external power supply is also included.

Je souhaitais tester La qualité et l’expérience Universal audio mais pas au prix de l’apollo!
je ne suis pas déçu de la 476, ça marche tout seul sous Mac!
Même pas besoin de la connecter à l’ordi pour bénéficier du pré ampli vintage et du compresseur en monitoring direct !
Les commandes sont assez intuitives, l’interface est robuste et dépouillée, je vais à l’essentiel: le son est clair, le mode vintage est subtile mais ajoute une brillance sympa. Les différents modes de compression sont vite maîtrisés et rajoute du corps et du volume à la source, mais ajoute aussi du souffle, attention donc…
La partie relou, c’est le bundle de plug ins a installer après inscriptions sur les différents sites, c’est long, c’est en anglais, et on peut s’y perdre, bref C’est chiant pour un folkeu comme moi … pas trop plugnplay… mais une fois tout installé, c’est super sympa et qualitatif ! Nickel pour composer, faire de la démo, la simu de Plexi et la Reverb est excellente.
pour le reste, je n’ai pas assez d’expérience pour donner mon avis car je ne connais pas tous les produits !
La qualité me semble au rendez vous, le son me semble fidèle et pas de problème de latence sous Mac, le préamplificateur vintage et la compression à portée de main est un plus pour moi qui n’aime pas trop bidouiller les plug ins.
L’aspect moins agréable est le temps nécessaire à installer tous les plugs, il faut compter 1 bonne après midi… et bonjour les spams ensuite…
